Fascinating birds of prey will delight visitors to The Falconry Centre at Webbs Garden Centre in West Hagley during half term.
A special half term falconry fun quiz trail is being laid on from Monday, 13th to Friday, 17th February at the Centre, which houses more than 80 birds of prey from around the world.
The trail, which runs from 11am to 4pm, takes youngsters on a walk of discovery with a number of questions to be answered about the birds. The completed entries can be entered into a draw with first prize of a children’s one hour bird handling experience.
The Falconry Centre houses birds of prey including eagles, hawks, falcons, owls and vultures from around the world. New birds for 2012 include an Crested Cara Cara, three new falcons and a beautiful eight month old Aplomado Falcon call App who was bred in Spain.
There are daily flying displays from 1pm (weather permitting) which give visitors a chance to experience the splendour of these magnificent birds.
